TDS meters

Hey gang,
I am looking to pick up a fairly reliable/quality TDS meter. I was wondering if the quality of the in-line were better or worse than hand held? I would be interested in folks opinion of what they use. Any help is greatly appreciated as I want to test my new ro/di soon so I can continue with my setup.

Definately go with an inline. I have both and haven't used my handheld in years. My inline is set up with the in monitoring after RO and the out monitoring after DI. This way I can monitor both the RO membrane and DI resin performance. I don't really care what the TDS of my water coming in is although I could check every now and then which I sometimes do at different times of the year.

Any brand recommendations? Or are they mostly equivalent?

I would also recommend that inline one. I also installed it after my RO and after my DI also so you can monitor which filters may need changing therefore saving you money in the long haul. All me research pointed me to the the one reefermedic pointed out and I ordered it from filterdirect.com for 32$ along with back filters for my RO unit.

That is the same one I use too. Think I got it from Marine Depot.

I have both a hand held and the inline meter posted above. I use them both, they each have their advantages/disadvantages. I rely on the inline more and if I had to choose only one, that'd be my choice.
