15 gallon high as a sump?

Well I won't be able to fit a 20 gallon in my cabinet....but a 15 high would fit perfectly...Can I use one for a sump?

You could use a rubbermaid container as a sump if you wanted to.

Most sumps are more convenient if they are short. Not sure what the height on a 15 high is (too lazy to google it) but it might be a pain in the butt to get your hands in there if it is over 16" tall.
