I got a 40 breeder from a fellow reefer and left it outside early in the winter and water froze in it and now has a small leek in the seal... Is it worth fixing or is it to risky:-/ god forbid I fill it up than a year later it starts leaking... Or is it an easy fix and once re sealed it would be fine?

Thanks mason

every once and a while petco has dollar per gallon sales. that would be a $40 replacement or about $55 normally, but peace of mind is priceless.

yes it is fixable and would only cost about $10 for fish safe silicone.

your choice. how much diy you like.

Are you sure it's leaking? If so, can you post a pic of where it's damaged?

If the structural seam is damaged you are talking hours and hours of work to fix. IMO that would be time worth more than $40, or even $109

I have heard of people repairing a tank and be fine BUT I would hate to risk it being that I had a tank bust a leak on me before.
