I shut down my 2 32g biocube tanks and decided to condense them into a 75 gallon low tech tank. We’re talking weekly 10 gallon water changes and a reef octopus hob skimmer. The tanks been running since Halloween. Slowly added a Diamond goby, Royal gramma was from previous tank along with the barnacle blenny. I used the sand and most rock from the old tanks in hopes that the cycle wouldn’t be too devastating but unfortunately it was. I lost a pair of clownfish and a Ruby red mandarin dragonet from my old tanks. At that point I kept my fingers crossed that the 2 survivors Royal gramma and barnacle blenny would make it through and thank God they did. I’m gonna continue with the 10 gallon weekly water changes and continue to run the hob skimmer and slowly add a few more fish and coral, see what happens.
