Purple Tangs do not eat hair algea. I bought a Purple Tang at AquAddicts the other day....I watched it eat hair algea in my tank, for a couple days now. I am not recomending that you go out and buy a Purple Tang cause they don't eat hair algea...this one is just a freak
Heh, I got a purple and he doesn't eat it either. Just seems like I've got more green hair algae now than ever before. Maybe my bioload finally caught up with me. 15 fish in a 150. Most ever. No skimmer/fuge either.
Hmmm, maybe my phosphates have crept up. Time to check.
