Anyone use ESV's BIonic Doser?

I am looking for an easier way to dose the B-Ionic 2-part additive to my system. ESV sells an automatic doser that looks like it would do the trick, but it's almost $200. Just wondering if anyone here has one and if they think it's worth the money. Also it looks like it wouldn't be too difficult to build one. Just not clear on how the "Air vent & Air/Liquid Separator" part works (see the diagram here...http://www.esvco.com/prod9.html).

Yea, I was thinking about building one. It seems straight forward, the only thing I don't get is when the bionic flows from the reservoir to the measuring cup, what stops it from going up the air vent tube?

1. Buying B-ionic is a waste of money. You can make your own two-parts with much much much and yes, much less money.

2. The doser is kind of funky.

All you need is two aqualifter pumps ($12 each) and a digital timmer.

Aqualifter pump will deliver 3 gallon per hours or 190 mL per minute.

You can let the timmer turns both pump for 1 minute per day.

Dilute the B-ionic as see fit.
