Building a 125 gallon sump

Im building a 125 gallon sump and would love some input. The bio chamber is 44x18 and then I made a plant chamber next to it. I was having a hard time figuring out how to make a lip all around the bio chamber to allow the egg crate to sit on and a lip to allow the drip plate to sit on. I ended up using pvc and made a frame that sits on the bottom and then the egg crate drops right in on top of it. Then I made another frame and sat that ontop of the egg crate and then my drip tray will sit right on top of it. Please share your thoughts.

There just pot scrubbers. They are used instead of bio balls. They do the same thing a bio ball would do.

Well have to say thats the first time I have seen pot scrubbers used. Are you not using Live Rock in your system? I am just wondering I always thought you only use Bio Balls if you dont plan on using rock.

I believe this is for a fresh water system so live rock would be a bad idea lol.
