My girlfriend is a ceramicist and I'm thinking about making a ceramic frag station. Does anyone have any experience making one. She has given me the option of low fire white earthen ware or mid-range (cone 5 or 6) stoneware. My thought is not to have it glazed and put it in a quarantine tank. I'd like to go with the stoneware as it is a bit stronger and think the brown color will fit in better. I plan on testing levels and check for any changes. Also plan on seeing if I can get coraline algae to stick. Anyone have any thoughts on something I may be missing.
