Makes sense to have a more nuanced quota system in place than “weigh it.” So I guess I’m in favor. If the quotas are really harsh that will be a drag on the hobby. But hopefully the authorities will keep in mind that hobbyist reefs and onshore aquaculture faculties are a good reservoir of species that might get hit hard by acidification/bleaching/heat stress in the coming years. An ark if you will. So take good care of your corals, people!

Lol. Aquaculture facilities maybe. Not definitely not us. How many corals have you put back in the ocean vs. the garbage can?

point well taken, however, isn't it also a valid point to ask how many corals have not been taken out of the ocean becuz of others propagations?

This is good. We should all be keeping tank raised corals anyways. Protect that nature
