The mushroom I believe is a algae and depending on the clam size it probably doesn’t need to be fed just blasted with light, it looks like a maxima but could be a crocea. Both like being in the rocks. They will use their foot too attach to something, recommend you put a small rock or a clam hammock ( google it ) so you can move it around if needed.

Thanks, what would I feed the clam if I needed to? Never had anything like it. As for the algae mushroom type critter, can anyone ID so I can find a treatment? I should have known it’s been growing out of the rocks quickly

Phyto or any filter feeder foods. Just be careful, the food could spoil your water , phyto can strip your water and the clam is a calcium and nitrate sink hole

Defiantly a crocea, you can tell based on the shell. For food phyto is a good supplement but generally fish poop and high par is good enough. I agree with Chris, you should get a clam hammock as crocea and maxima clams attach to hard surfaces naturally
