My cleaner shrimp made a home in the corner of the tank he’s really cool and I want to see him should I remove the rock so he’ll have to come out?

No, it's not about you seeing your animals, it's about creating an ecosystem for them to thrive in. I'm sure you can see the shrimp at some point. Mine used to be available after lights went out.

I thought maybe he was afraid and taking out the rock would help him but I understand now that he’s fine the way he is

Skunk cleaner shrimp usually want to be out on the open so they can do their job. Is it new? Maybe it just needs to get comfortable in the tank.

My skunk cleaner is out and about most of the time and will even feed from my hand. When it does hide, it normally means it's molting.
