Conditioned Tap to RODI

Got a question on making the switch to RODI. Since starting my tank I've been using conditioned tap water for mixing and top off. Yeah I know now. Just grabbed a new RODI system and planned on hooking it up asap. Question is, should I do a larger than normal (10% weekly) water change to remove as much of the conditioned tap out of the system or just keep doing my weekly 10% and work most of the tap out over time?

Also grabbed some GFO and carbon (dual reactor) I plan on hooking up. (High phosphate I assume from not using RODI)
