conquering powerhead hum with a fake rock?

Hi all-

I have a single Tunze 6045 in my 75g reef tank (to complement the eductor I have on my return) and find the low end hum it produces to be a but too much for me (as a musician, I am EXTREMELY noise sensitive). I am thinking of purchasing the rock you can mount them into:

I am presuming that getting the pump off of the glass will help (a lot).
1) agree?
2) anyone got one for sale?
