Could someone please help me identify the purple polyps in the photo. They were not intentionally added to the tank.
Is this a type of xenia or star polyp? Are they invasive?

Hard to tell with all the blue lighting but if I had to guess I'd say blue clove polyps. They grow like weeds.

Any way to contain them? Any creatures that may feast on them?

What about sympodium? Grows similar to gsp like a matting sort of thing I have some blue green sympodium in my tank. Here’s a pic open and closed as I conveniently just fragged some and it’s closed up still. It lifts off very easily and if not desired anything that might get left behind cover with some epoxy or something.
