I have my first death. I woke up this morning and my green emerald crab was dead and my hermits looked like they were snacking. It's not in a place I can get at too easy. Can I leave it in or should I take it out?

I would take it out. can cause an increase of amonia.

Are you sure it was dead, it probably molted and left it's molt behind which is an exact replica of your crab.

how big is the tank? A 10 gal, I'd remove, a 150, I'd leave it.

He's still alive, boy I feel dumb. Last time I saw him he was turning white and what I saw on the bottom of the tank was white so I assummed, but I just saw him and he is bright emerald green.
