I am going to go with a HOB fuge for my new 75 gallon. The main tank will have a very thin layer of sand. In the fuge I am planning a 5-6" bed of sand (southdown). My question is in the 46 that I am swapping into the 75 this weekend it has a crushed coral about 4" deep. For the fuge I am going to be adding LR rubble and Macro.
Question is.....should I add a few scoops of the crushed coral that has been up and running close to 2 years? If so how deep should I try to go or just skim off the top?
