UPDATE - everything is gone - thanks to all for the interest and excited to help get some new reefers started with a set up! On to the 45 gal AIO build!
Also, for anyone not having luck with selling their tanks, I’ve sold a few (old freshwater tanks and this one) through Craigslist.
120 gallon reef tank for sale - 4'x2'x2' with matching stand, dual overflows / returns, 40 gallon sump, plumbing, pump, protein skimmer. $500 for the tank, $1000 for everything (stand, sump, pumps, protein skimmer, spare live rock if you want it). $1400 with 4x AI Vega lights and controller. $1500 OBO for the complete set up (livestock, lights, tank, stand, pumps, spare parts, anything else you want). I would prefer to sell the complete set up so just make an offer.
*** EDIT FOR CLARITY - all corals are in my 45 gallon, were sold, or were given to a friend for safekeeping until I can upgrade. I have RBTAs available from my other tank ***
The stand and cabinets are beautiful - this can be (and was) a show tank on the main floor of the house - it will be something you want to show off and not have tucked away. The stand was custom built for the tank with a metal drip pan to ensure that there are no leaks! Plenty of cord holes in the back for airflow and plugs.
All equipment is up for sale too - feel free to inquire or make an offer. I have a large Jebao wavemaker that is great for flow for the entire tank. I plan to take the ATO with me but I can recommend it on Amazon, large scraper goes with the tank, misc. nets, vacuums, etc. go with the tank. Two canister filters can go with the tank as well - added the canister filters when I had problems with the old pump and then just kept them on there!
Also have a biocube 29 that I've been using as a SW mixer that could become a QT tank or a mixing tank that I will throw in with the tank.
EVERYTHING MUST GO ASAP - so just make an offer!
I am breaking down the tank as I set it up for my parents and they are moving. Transferring what I can to a 45 gallon in my apartment. Definitely open to trades (or really any arrangement - I just need to break the tank down and want to see the fish go to a good home)
4x Aquaillumination Vega LEDlights - planned on taking the lights with me to have on my new tank but if you require the lights with the tank, we can work something out for roughly $100 per light + controller. Lights. are very powerful - more than enough for all corals.
Livestock -
2x ocellaris clownfish - likely moving to 45 unless wanted with tank or for a similarly large tank — gone
1x melanarus wrasse - absolutely beautiful and my favorite fish in the tank - gone
1x sailfin tang - lots of personality, will eat seaweed out of my hand as I try to put it in the food clip - gone
1x Banggai cardinalfish - gone
1x carpenter flasher wrasse - gone
1x bicolor blenny - gone
2x RBTA - $20 per - gone
Lots of live rock and will throw in most pieces with the tank, otherwise $10-20 per piece if I end up parting the system
Feel free to text or call or email - happy to help move within for a reasonable extra fee (will obviously help you load everything up)
I'm sure I am forgetting something so I will update the listing as I remember!
I'm sad to be selling this tank but hope to get someone else excited about the hobby and the possibilities of a new tank!
