I have always asked myself, are my fish / corals living becuz of me or in spite of me? Are they living or are they thriving? Interestingly when I've posed those questions to hobbyists to ask themselves, more often than not they actually get offended. Which to me might be an insight as to why politics is the way it is. The easiest person in the world to lie to is one self.
