Kalkwasser stirrer question

I bought the KW reactor 300 and have it setup inline with my ATO (tunze 3155). seems to be working good but confused by the directions.

Every two weeks you are to add an amount of Kalk based on your evaporation and every 4 months do a break down and clean, am I reading that right, keep adding additional kalk for 4 months, not emptying and refill?

Yup, because the kalk doesn't go bad or anything and under normal circumstances with regular additions there will always be some settling out between stirings
