MH light question

I am going to be upgrading from a 65g to a 125g in the next few months. I am wondering if a 72" 3X150W MH light would be enough for a 125g? I am not really into SPS so that is not a concern. On my 65g I run a 36" Current USA Sunpod with 2X150 MH during the winter and it is a great light(Well to me anyways). Heat is no longer an issue in the summer as the basement(where the tank is) is now AC'd.

What is the Depth of tank? Glad to see people still see the many Advantages of Halides.

It's 23" deep.
