mixing salt with ro/di water in new tank

i will soon be filling up my new 325 gallong tank is there any reasons i shouldn't fill with water first then add salt after i am sure there are no leaks or problems?

i dont see why not, it would be same as filling a bucket and adding salt, its just a very large bucket.

I did this with my in wall tank in the basement, worked great.

wasnt sure about that residue that always collects on the bottom of the bucket being a problem in the tank.

I just did this not too long ago. It's not a problem.
