I set my nano cube after a week I had brown algae then turned to green grass like algae how long will this phase last? Thank you for suggestions

Tank is cycling so some of it is normal buet to give you more info we will also need more. What's in the tank, are you doing water changes, what are your parameters, do you have a skimmer, anything else you can think of.
The brown is normal, hair algae is normal to some extent but you don't want it to get out of control. Was the rock live or dry. One week seems fast for ha on dry rock. Was the sand dry or live?

hair algae is not a phase by any means...nutient overload....lighting also can fuel the growth coupled with the excessive nutrients...is the tank near a window? how old r the light bulbs?
