New algae in my tank

So this new green algae has started growing in my tank. Spreading fast. Time to buckle down on the husbandry.

Combo husbandry/water changes and I always stock up on hermits and snails when this happens. (Tangs help as well if your tank is large enough)! Good excuse to add a fish

may i add my my opinion .i have been dealing with this same algae for a good solid year. i do water change every 3 weeks,also a bought a yellow tang. plenty of snails, emerald crabs still dealing with it . i do not know how to get rid of it. i assume it is a young tank a year plus. hope you get get rid of it .good luck
 
Try some Mexican turbos , just place them on it and they should devour anything that's green lol
