New to the forum but not to the hobby

Hello everyone! I have been lurking and posted a few replies before. I'm glad to find an active local reefer community here in Boston.

I'm getting back into the hobby after a few months of resisting urge to get my hands wet. I'm going small this time and keeping it simple and efficient.

- 8 gallon finnex rimless (drilled overflow)
- 10 gallon refugium
- DIY LEDs
- No skimmer (at least not for now)
- MJ-1200 as return pump
- Koralia nano

Started cycling with dry rocks with seed rock and live sand and just tested 0 ammonia. The fun begins now ....

Milwaukee, WI. I was quite active on Wisconsin Reef Society when I set up my 1st and 2nd tanks. This is my 3rd but nano is new to me.

It's metal flower pot from local craft store. I have plan to modify it soon and I will post the detail in DIY with photos.
