Nocturnal Sea Horses???

Hello people:

I found an interesting comment in a book called “Encyclopedia of Sea Horses” by Mildred Bellomy (1969). In it (Page 30) there is an observation made that the Giant Sea Horses as well as the Dwarf Sea Horse my be somewhat nocturnal. These observations have been made in “... Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and the USA. Perhaps other countries as well have noted that the sea horse engages in more active swimming by night than by day.”

Has anyone ever noted that?

Could this be a reason that some sea horses seem “lazy” during the day (DSH)?

Could this also be a reason as to why it seems difficult to feed some breeds such as the DSH? Because they prefer to eat at night.

Any discussion would be great.

Thanks for all of your help. Without your help I could not have progressed as far as I have as soon as I have. Not withstanding my plan may be somewhat controversial.
