Mine seems to be starting to encrust slowly over the glue but I'm going through a.........slight?.....algae bloom. I'll be working on the tank after Christmas and post a picture.
Mine on Dec. 8th, with my geriatric neon goby making an appearance. However the paly has since decided to close up shop and look generally annoyed... not sure why.
Nice big Z! I don't even know if mine has "encrusted" the glue yet or not I didn't think to loon for that! New picture will be up first week of January for me when school starts back up.
My very first post to Boston Reefers forum!
Here is my tank info and a few current pictures. Sorry I did not take an initial picture of the one parent which is doing very well right from the start. As of last week I had 4 new(babies) and it looks like I have 2 additional ones for a total of six. Seems like my pictures may be too large since they failed to upload directly to bostonreefers, so I uploaded them to photobucket.
150 Gallon Tank that I've had for 15+ years:
Filtration: Amiracle Sump with Berlin Protein Skimmer.
Lighting: Combination of lights that I have bought over the years;
(2) 36" T5 HO, 10,000K and Actinic (Backrow)
(2) 36" LED Fluval Sea Full Spectrum (Front Row)
(1) LED Galaxyhyro (Midrow over frags)
Plenty of live rock (had for 12-15 years)
Fish (Currently 12; Tangs, Clowns, Royal Grammas), Crabs, Snails and Starfish.
Acclimation: Quick dip in Coral Rx, and minor acclimating.
Placed on frag rack with other Zoas & Palys where it will remain for growout.
Water changes: 20+- gallons every other week.
Dosing: Dosing-feed mineral supplements between water changes.
Photos taken with Olympus E-M10 with Olympus Macro lens.
it's been a while, sorry. I have a bud on the side, possibly two, that I can't get a picture of. It's taken this guy a while to acclimate to the leds -_-
