Orange dots on hammer coral

Hey everyone, new to the community. I have had this hammer for about 6 months now and its been doing great. I bought it with 3 heads and its split into 5 already. Came home today and noticed these small orange dots on some of the ends of the hammers. Anyone seen this before or know what it might be (some of the clusters almost look like eggs...)? Any help is appreciated thanks!

I agree with you it looks like eggs.... but to what? Any new frags lately? Any type of corals suddenly die? I am wondering if they are nudibranch eggs. Snails wouldn’t lay on the heads like that...

I would dip the coral to remove them to be safe.

OK folks, I'm posting an update. Ive done some more research and ive found a couple other people post about this. Looks like these guys are about to spawn some eggs. Pretty cool stuff. you can see in these pictures that the Hammers are amassing the eggs around the mouths of each head. id say they will be released after lights out today or tomorrow.
