Oscellaris and True perc pair

Well, i had a pair of Oscellaris and male died in the ICK outbreak few weeks ago. Female survived and doing good. I ordered a small true perc to see if they can mate or not. I have heard that normally they can met but so far both fish are staying in two different corners. Perc tried to pair up with oscellaris female but she wasn't interested. Is it just a time thing or pairing won't happen?

I had no luck with a perc and a Oscellaris.My perc would chase the other one away.Hope you have better luck then me.
