I think I've finally reached aqua nirvana. I actually think I'm 100% happy with everything and don't want to upgrade anything.
Here's a rundown of what I have for equipment:

  • Glass Cages rimless Starfire 40 breeder with Glass Holes overflow
  • Glass Cages oak stand
  • custom DIY light fixture with 2 Kessil A160WE Tuna Blue with two T5 (coral plus and blue plus bulbs)
  • Kessil spectral controller
  • Icecap 15 square sump
  • Skimz SN123 DC protein skimmer
  • Waveline DC2500 return pump
  • Jebao dosing pump
  • Maxspect 130 Gyre
  • Ebo-Jager 150w heater

Very nice setup! Love the sump area, very organized. Also the corals and fish look super healthy!
How do you like the skimz skimmer? Thought about purchasing one and was curious how it performs?

I love the skimmer. Works great. I bit of a PITA to get dialed in because it has three adjustments; air, pump speed and water level. Got it where I like it and now leave it alone. Only paid $160 for on Black Friday from Bulk Reef. Costs $200 now and will do a 130 gallon tank so they say.

Is is bad that I could spend hours looking at your sump. Everything is so clean and organized.

Look at it for hours? Reef Porn?
I have it neat with every plug labelled. So if I'm at work and wife calls me with an aqua emergency we can diagnose, unplug problem device and hopefully rectify it until I get home.
