pinpoint or milwaukee ph controller

I have a pinpoint so far, and I love it. It has literally saved my a$$ a few times when I acidentally hit the control on my CO2 regulator and increaed the bubble count. This would be true no matter what the controller is though. I wouldn't run a reactor without one. Too much room for error on my part.;) I've never owned a milwaukee before, so on info on those.

I have read several reviews about Milwaukee's that say there is only a high setting on there monitors and controllers. I would look into this before considering a Milwaukee.

That said, I have a Milwaukee monitor and it works great. (my monitor only has a visual alarm that has a high pH set point) Not that critical on a monitor since it doesn't turn anything off.

Yea, my understanding is that the pinpoint stuff in general is a bit higher quality than the milwakee. The pinpoint controller has high / low set points and the range adjustment. Milwakee only has a high set point (unless they sell more than one model??)

So yea, I second what everyone else said....
