power heads

hi guys i am getting some new power heads. i have a 40 breeder i would like to get one or two not sure but the hydor 600 or the 750 to 850 i think 2 750 might be to much flow . 2 600 should be ok not sure .i could use some input thanks chris

I can assure you that 2x 750gph hydors is not too much in a 40B. I had a 750 and a 1400gph going in mine at one point, and at another point a 1050 & a 750gph. This was in addition to my return pump flow. Of course, w/ a 1400gph in a 40B it was aimed at the glass to spread out flow.

I have a hydro nano 225 and 400 in my 25 gallon and I wish I had more flow. It is good but stuggles to get the flow to stop protein build up on the surface and keep sps alive due to the lower flow. I would go with the higher hydors and maybe get the one that you can control the flow of you are afraid of too much

hi now i have a 1050 in there and a little nano i thing it is to strong.so i thought two 750 would do right i think .and put the 1050 back mixing salt and put the nano back in the sump. my thoughts
