Has anyone ever 'pruned' corals? By that I mean where you have mixed zoas with one less-wanted species taking over the other pulling out the unwanted one?
I've found that when I do that, the unwanted ones grow back faster. Is this me just noticing this, or have others experienced this? Is this a viable strategy for making things in your tank grow faster, similar to splitting a starfish?
