Hi, I had downsized to a IM 14g peninsula tank for pair of clowns, pair of cleaner shrimp, some hermits and some soft corals - easy stuff
I have purchased a couple different skimmers and they just overflow. The issue with this tank is the bubbles end up overflowing out the back of the tank onto the floor and I travel for work so I’ve just had it off
The AIO IM tank has 3 chambers filter media which I put filter floss, carbon and gfo, the 2nd for a skimmer and the 3rd for return pump which I also have all my apex sensors ato and trident intake (from my prior bigger tank) in it
Should I try the ‘break in period’ again and just let it overflow while I’m home (keeping bubbles from overflowing the back)
Or should I just take it out and load that chamber with more filter media?
Picture so you can see. There’s not much room and I won’t be getting a larger tank for another year ish
