red bubbles and slime

Noticed I have red bubbles forming in sump and what appears to be red slime on LR.
Anywords on what it might be. System parm are all within check.

Is it slimy to the touch and comes off pretty easily (cyano)?

Probably Cyano Bactria. Check your phosphate levels.

Phos are at 0.25. Have reactor coming in tomorrow.

How often do you feed and do WC.

Do you have a RO unit? If so when was the last time the filters were changed?

Filters are good and water changes every other week to 3. Feeding is every other day to 3 days.

The reactor will help, but I was just trying to figure out what has suddenly caused it.

Is your tank under a year old?

Also, increase flow if you can.

It will help.

I get a little Cyano some time when I let my water changes go over two weeks or my RO filters need changing.

Gonna try more water changes and suck some of it up.
