I'm looking into replacing my halide bulbs soon, this will be my first time doing so. I have two 175w (standard) bulbs on a 46 gallon tank, and I'm looking for the best value as far as output and looks. My tank is soon to be a lagoon/seagrass bed biotope tank, so I would like the lighting to benefit not only the corals I will have but the seagrass and other macros. At this point, lighting spectrum, especially for MH, is the subject I know least about. So any suggestions as to what bulbs I should look into purchasing and what spectrum I should aim for would be most appreciated. Thanks,
