Royal Exclusiv Bubble King Double Cone 150 Protein Skimmer

[Fish Drive Me Crazy]

I have a Royal Exclusiv Bubble King Double Cone 150 Protein that I got used and I was wondering if any one else has one and if the experienced the same issue tuning it like me. I'll dial it in and it will skim well for a while and then the air pulses in the reaction chamber causing the water level to go up and down I've tried adjusting the inlet knozzle and the outlet am I missing something here?

Is the air line clean? I would check that to make sure nothing is clogging it.

How quickly does this happen? Can you watch it go up and down, or is more like the foam is steady but then a couple of minutes later it will have dropped?

Sound like it is siphoning. Is the output creating a siphon? and how much water is it sitting in? could be starving air if it is too deep

6 1/2 inches of water is what it's sitting in and I can watch the pulsing once a second

I agree, sounds like it's siphoning on the output. Could you post a pic showing the outlet pipe? (I'm wondering if it has been modified in any way?)
