Hi all!
I have a 72 gallon bow and it's currently an African cichlid tank. Not for long! I wanted to do this years ago but I didn't have the funds. So far I have 70 # of sand waiting, and am buying 100 # of lr. It already has a 20 long sump and a aqua c hob skimmer.
But..... The big thing is the lights!!!
I bought (4) boost led par30 led bulbs and there reef clamps. The tank is 48"x12"x24" and I got the 12,000k lights and wow!! They are bright! I will need to do one or two bulbs of t5 to just fill in the corners a tiny bit, but man these things have penitration. and I'm so glad I don't have to replace bulbs EVER on the LEDs
I'm taking a pic now..

I will update the thread as I convert the tank to a fowlr.
Comments and constructive criticism always welcome.

Pic...
Sorry for the crappy cell pic..

I like the look of those lights! They are a bit bright and I'm sure it's lights up the neighborhood too! :)

Thanks! I actually got a current 4 bulb t5 light. It's AWESOME! I will post a pic of it. It will make the fish look better too.

Hi all!
Sence the tank is almost done it's cycle, I bought some wicked cool fish currently living in my quarantine tank. I will give the big tank a week or two more befor I add fish.
I got a poor mans morish idol :)
a 2 banded butterfly (sooo pretty)
A 4 inch long male blue throut trigger. A truly wonderful fish.
And a bangii cardinal

At this time I can't get a picture of the trigger as he is shy lol

These fish will be slowly added to the tank over a two week period to not shock the tank.

Ya I love it. All of these fish were from oceans in glass in salem. Those guys rock!! Such healthy live stock.

Looking good! The lighting makes a HUGE difference! I love trigger fish. They are one of my favorite but when I get my 120 set up one is going in there. Nice work!
