I think I recently got some hitchhikers. these starfish are smaller than a dime and the legs on them are all different sizes and are reproducing rapidly does anybody know what kind of starfish these are and if I should be concerned.

What color are they? There was a recent thread by Dong (dz6t) about hitchhiker starfish. He posted pics - search for the thread and see if they are the same.

they are tan colored

no, my star fish are white and they are about 1/4 inch as the largest.
