Tank rebound pic from quad dose of copper....

As some may remember a few months ago my roommates cat clawed a light + ballast into my fuge. Wiped out all my coral within an hour. I tested everything, came to find something like .80ppm copper.

After 3 months of copper removal things are starting to do well... No trace of copper in the system anymore.

What I did was remove all the rocks, let them sit in a bucket with a power head, poly pads and novaqua...

Drained 99% of the water, pulled out most of the old substrate, covered what was left with 60lbs of carib sea.

Got an Ehiem 2026, filled it with poly pads, chem pure, carbon, regular dose of novaqua.

Took several weeks to drop the copper to zero, between water changes it would leech out and creep the readings up. For about two months every two weeks the poly pads would be green...

Can't find my camera, so here are some phone pics.
