Using old bio pellets?

So my question is can I use old dried bio pellets in my new reactor. I had a reactor up and running with bio pellets (twolittlefishies POS) and the pellets tumbled for about a week before they began to clump so I pulled the reactor and drained it before I had an issue. Should I just toss the previously used pellets (about 500 ml) or will they still be good in my new reactor?

Toss them. Not worth it. Too many variables for what could lead to pellet degradation by having online / offline. If you do reuse I would suggest a rigorous rinse in RO.
