where in boston are good places to collect estuary water sample

trying to help my 9 yrs old son with his science fair project to collect water sample at the mouth of the (Charles) river where it meet the sea tide to compare the salinity level with other water habitats (ocean water and fresh water). .

charles rivers? boston harbor?

Hit the mouth of the Charles at Boston harbor and then a little north you can also sample the mystic at the edge of the harbor. Nothing like it used to be but still there lol
