Would it be worth it to upgrade to something like this?

Its an 8 bulb T5 fixture w/individual reflectors.

I'd love to go MH but I have old wiring and I'd know I'd be popping the circuit breaker constantly.

Looks like a pretty sweet set-up at a really reasonable price. If you go T5 then def get a fixture w/ individual reflectors.

I don't think that fixture has fans for cooling. The bulbs wont run at optimum temperate and will have roughly half the lifespan. It will get real expensive real fast.

could always add some fans.
IMO anything is better than pc's
