zoas turning red?

swampy

Has anyone ever seen this? I know zoas can get a fungus but it doesn't look like the pictures I've seen. Could this just be coraline? The zoes seem happy. Thanks

I've never seen that before. Does it look like something around the zoa or the actual zoa tissue?

It look like it's growing on it. It even looks like some of it is on the plug. (see around 9 O'clock on the plug in the photo)

Really?? What makes you say this? Is this what they leave behind? Any ideas on what to do?

Thanks

If you find that it is flatworms, I think there are some wrasses that eat them. Someone who knows more on wrasses could maybe chime-in on that.

Have you tried giving it a squirt of water to brush it off?

I tried that tonight, but it didn't really do too much. :(

The good news is that it looks like it's starting to go away. I did a water change last night, maybe that helped. All my tests were normal before I did the change.

I guess I'll just wait and see.
