Zoos growing onto clam--Is this ok?

Just like the title. I have some zoos growing on my clam. Will this harm the clam?

i don't believe it will do that much damage. i have mushrooms on a few of my clams, and nothing is bothered. i could be wrong, but i don't seem to have problems
