Here is a new years update on this tank for those of you I do not regularly speak with off of the forums....
Shortly after I posted the last update, my tank crashed due to our power going out while I was away for a weekend and the AC units tripping which caused my apartment to get very hot. Needless to say, nearly all of the SPS died but I was able to save most of my LPS, all of the softies and all of the fish. I then got a wonderful job opportunity I could not pass up that required me to be in Florida for a few months but my fiancee was able to keep everything in the tank alive in my absence.
Fast forward to the end of September and flatworms had completely overrun my tank and I spent a month sucking them out as much as I could before I treated them. Unfortunately, even with water changes and running carbon, the tank completely crashed.
Everything died.
I will be moving this year so I decided to tear down the tank and added to the curing live rock I had for my planned upgrade. I have a large rubbermaid trashbin almost full of cycling live rock now and most of it has been cycling for the past 5 or so months and is full of life. I'll continue to cycle this rock until I move and will either start the 57 gallon I had previously posted about upgrading to or will be looking into a larger, rimless cube that will be my main display for the next several years until we find our forever home.
I will be making a detailed build thread about this tank when the build starts. I want to thank all of you for your continued support and can't wait to see what 2022 holds for me in this hobby.

PS- When I move my shallow pond tank some of you have been very interested in (which is still thriving) will become a shallow softy/lagoon tank. We (BRS BoD) have discussed making a contest for paid members regarding this idea too so stay tuned!
