10G sump baffles

Me and Melody have a standard 10G tank we are setting up as the sump for the 60gal we are setting up and I have a few questions about putting baffles in it.
What thickness acrylic should be used for the baffles and what type of silicon should be used? I'm assuming there is some special silicon that needs to be used and that the stuff at HD for tile and tub isn't the right stuff.

Also is there any where in Southern NH to pick up weld-on that has normal hours (outside regular working hours or sat)?

there is a link to the thread that shows my sump/fuge made from a 10g tank...i used 1/4" thick stuff for the fuge box and then 1/8" or 3/16" stuff for the baffles. there is no pressure on them so you don't have to worry about that. as far as silicone, go to your LFS and get aquarium silicone made by "All-Glass". it works well. let me know how you make out and if you have any questions for me you can pm them to me.
good luck!!
