I recently got an acro porta 5 days ago but it still hasn't fully opened up. All my water conditions are very fine and I have moved it in various spots but believe it still isnt in a good spot any help for placement?

The acropora is outlined in red

Agreed, try to be patient. They are very sensitive corals. Over time will tell you will be able to tell by eye what it needs more or less of. After 7 going in 8 years of keeping sps I still find some frags are hit or miss. Acro are funny like that

Ok we my calcium levels are at 460
My alkalinity is at 7.5
Ammonia- 0
Nitrates are at 1ppm since I just recently did a water change

Your parameters look okay. Are you running your light at full intensity? The frag may need more light

I have a prime 16hd here is my light schedule I am open to change it though if you feel there is not enough light

I run hydra 52 (older model) on a 10” deep tank at full intensity. If you brought your peak mid light cycle up by 15% at first then go even more 5% at a time you should see better polyp extension.
