I just purchased a digital Kangaroo 324 Pump off ebay to dose Kalk. It looks like the Admiral pump from Reefdosingpumps.com. BUT, I want to use a timer and level controller with it, and found out this unit has a battery backup that comes on when the power is cut. Anyone know if disabling the battery makes it usable the way I want. I read some threads on RC but they were not very clear about what is possible by disabling the battery. If it just isn't possible, I'm going to sell it and find another type...
