Aquatinics problem

A client of mine has a 2x175W / T5 combo light on his 72bow front tank. When you plug the MH plug in, the fuse on the GFI trips. 1 bulb has been out for a while but it hasn't done this before. The storm last night knocked out the power for a while. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Suggestions?

Could have been a surge that caused a short to ground in the ballast or the fixture. Can you pull the cover off of the ballast box, and look for a short. Can you put a meter from one of the terminals of the plug to the ground pole and see if there is a current path.
