Atlanta Aquarium - Behind the scenes

About a month ago I was in Atlanta and went to the Atlanta Aquarium ( Georgia Aquarium ) and did the behind the scenes tour. It cost about $70.00 for the general admission and the behind the scenes tour but I would recommend it. You get to see the filtration, go on top of the huge tank with the Whale sharks, go on top of the tank with the Beluga Whales ,see the labs and propagation facilities etc. The guide was pretty knowledgeable and entertaining. ( When I asked him if something was the " protein skimmer" he said for $1,000,000 they prefer to call it the " Foam Fractionator")
We watched them feed the whale sharks. Two guys get in inflatable boats and paddle out to dump buckets of krill.
Your UPS and Home Depot expenditures paid for it all, I recommend you go visit where your money went.

I had fun on the tour when I went 1.5 years ago. I had camera error that caused me to lose most of my behind the scenes pictures, but otherwise it was a great time.
